THE PROGRAM: This Fall program is designed to be fun, but not for fun. In a supportive, laughter-filled, relaxing yet productive environment, you will experience and learn practical ways to use humor and other skills to manage stress in your life, work, and organization. THE LEADERS: Margie Ingram, M.A., Ed. Spec., one of the national pioneers in the field of stress management, is Coordinator of The HUMOR Project's annual international conference. In the past 32 years, she has presented programs throughout the U.S. and abroad for corporations, hospitals, human service agencies, schools, and associations on such topics as humor in the workplace, resiliency, optimism, aging well, life transitions, effective team-building, and preventing burn-out. A certified graduate of the Authentic Happiness Coaching Program, this accomplished leader is now using her broad experience as a Life Coach to help individuals and small groups create the futures they want. She was honored in her hometown of Saratoga Springs to receive the Distinguished Service Award from the Reed Foundation and the Prevention Council. Margie will co-lead the weekend with her husband, Dr. Joel Goodman, who is the founder of The HUMOR Project, Inc. .

THE SETTING: Founded in 1902, this 700-acre National Historic Site with 32 buildings on the majestic shores of Lake George provides an invigorating setting in which to learn, relax, and recreate. The uniqueness of Silver Bay lies not only in its spectacular location on the "Queen of American Lakes" in the Adirondack Mountains, but also in its charm, beauty, and undeniable gift for providing inspiration. Silver Bay is one-hour driving time north of Saratoga Springs, New York.

CEU's & CME's: Up to 15 contact hours have been approved for physicians, nurses, and teachers as well as State University of New York CEU's. See page 16 for more details.

COSTS AND ACCOMMODATIONS: The all-inclusive fee is $495 per person, which includes tuition, handout materials, and room and board: double occupancy room with private bath plus all meals from Friday dinner through Sunday lunch. A limited number of single rooms (total cost $595) are also available. In order to reserve a spot, payment is required at the time you register.

Refund policy: Refunds (less a $35 fee) granted on written requests postmarked by September 15, 2005. For cancellations postmarked from September 16-October 7, the cancellation fee is $150 per person. Cancellations after October 7 are non-refundable. All cancellations must be in writing.
